Brainier Solutions, creator of the award-winning learning management system, The Brainier LMS, today announced a charitable donation to the Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley. The donation is in conjunction with a raffle prize at the 2024 Training Magazine APEX Awards Gala held in Orlando, Florida on February 26th. The winner, Wendy Youells, a trainer at Guardian Life Insurance, based in Bethlehem, PA selected the charitable organization. Ms. Youells and the team at Guardian Life were honored as a top training company for 2024 at the Apex Awards Gala. As part of the raffle prize presented by Brainier, she was gifted the selection of a charitable origination to receive a $500 donation.
Cancer Support Community of the Greater Lehigh Valley is a non-profit organization that provides comprehensive psychological and social support to people with cancer and their families. Its services include weekly support groups, educational workshops, mind/body/spirit programs, exercise and stress management programs, nutrition management, and networking/social activities. All programs and services offered are free of charge to the individuals in their communities.
“Over the years I volunteered to work with Nancy and the organization on numerous fundraising events.,” says raffle-winner, Wendy Youells. She continues, “The group’s mission really resonated with me because I have had family and friends impacted by this terrible disease.”
